It’s been a very hectic summer so apologies for the lack of posts, but we’ve been to several destination weddings throughout September and October and are still catching up with all the album orders before Christmas.
I recently visited Berlin – my first visit, and it won’t be my last. It’s an incredible city – with a really positive energy and exceptionally friendly people. The vision for the future is hugely ambitious with brave architecture and regeneration happening everywhere. My favourite building is Norman Foster’s incredible mirrored Cupola at the Reichstag, home of the German Parliament or Bundestag. You walk up helical ramps to the cupola’s top, and enjoy a 360-degree view of the city. Special headphones automatically provide a commentary on the view as they know which way you are looking.
I could write several pages about Berlin as there is so much to see and do, but for the moment you’ll have to make do with these photos!
