FAQs

Which Photographer is right for us?
Choose the photographer whose images speak to you, or move you. If you love all of our photographers, we sympathise! We then encourage a personal meeting with your chosen photographer, look at some more of their work, and make sure that you are comfortable with your choice.

Do you take formal or group shots as well as reportage?
Yes, of course, although we like to make this a fun and relaxed occasion - which means no stiff necks or forced smiles. We like to do these calmly and quickly so that you are free to enjoy your wedding.

Will we need more than one photographer?
If your wedding is large or complex, or at various locations simultaneously, then a 2nd photographer can bring another perspective to the story of your day, as well as providing additional coverage.

Do you shoot on Digital or Film?
We shoot using professional digital cameras which produce the same or better quality than film. Not only is the quality superb but it gives us great flexibility and allows us to shoot in mixed lighting conditions. Some photographers will (incorrectly) advise clients that film is somehow more 'artistic' than digital. Whether a photograph is artistic or not is wholly dependent upon the vision & skill of the photographer and has nothing to do with the image being taken on a film or digital camera.

How many photographs will you take on the day?
There is no limit to the number of photographs we take - we will take as many pictures as there are opportunities. The quantity is usually dictated by the size & complexity of your wedding.

Who chooses the photos for the album?
You do! It would be presumptuous of us to select your favourites - we might not know which of your family and friends you'd like to feature. We are very happy to advise you though if you have trouble deciding, as there are usually so many fabulous images.

How long does it take to make the album?
Once we have received your choice of images for inclusion in the album we design the layouts, which are then sent to you as a PDF to review and make changes if required. Once the design is finalised it normally takes a further 5-6 weeks for printing and binding.

What do you do about eating on the day?
Our day is long and requires total concentration to get the best possible images throughout your day. We ask that a balanced hot meal with a fresh veg or two is provided so that our energy levels are maintained, as this is the requirement for fabulous photographs.

How can our wedding guests view or order the photographs?
Your wedding will be hosted in the 'client area' on our website. The photographs can then be viewed by entering a password.

How do we book you?
Please contact us us to check availability and arrange an appointment. We will give you a bespoke quotation and send you a booking form by email. Once we receive the completed booking form along with a booking fee/retainer of £500 this will to secure and validate your day. (For Weddings outside the UK the booking fee will vary).

Do you photograph other events?
Yes we do. We photograph Bar/Batmitvahs, Christenings, large events or parties, personal or corporate. Please contact us us with your enquiry.
